Not a fan of Gundogan whenever he replaces either of Silva or KDB, he is ok when replacing Fernandinho or Rodri.
that's where i see him as well, he is a good player when used correctly

I have said exactly the same thing. He does not go looking for the ball , he hides from it. Watch how many times he looks away if an opponent is within 5 yards of him and a team mate is looking to pass it to him.Yesterday was a piss poor team effort but as this is a thread about Gundogan then I would say his 'performance' was pitiful. He went back into hiding in plain sight mode, something he became an expert at after his injuries. This involves making sure he isn't available to receive the ball, ensuring that he isn't in the vicinity of an opposing player who needs to be dispossessed & generally making no effort whatsoever. If he somehow receives the ball after all this he will look to pass it backwards to a central defender as quickly as possible.
Add to the above the obvious fact he doesnt even look fit and you have a perfect storm of shiteness.
You are far too generous in your definition of good and average.Problem with Gundogan is for every 1 good game there are 3 average or poor games.
Trusts him with what?, his Mrs?Pep plays him because he trusts him. Time to take off the blinkers. Pick the best team.
They do when it’s across many stats and consistently high.Stats don’t reflect a player mate. With that you’d get a well paid job in the states doing american football analysis, love a stat do that lot.
