Gundogan interview in The Telegraph

Thanks Ric. So, the North West is awash with 'superoaches'!

It bodes well that Gundogan is someone who studies the game. He has read Zlatan's autobiography. He took advice before deciding to join City, including from Jurgen Klopp. He seems to have exactly the right attitude to thrive under his new manager. I'm very excited about what he can bring to the team.

love this quote:
City believe they have the upper hand in appointing Guardiola, the dynamism around the club palpable at Sunday’s unveiling. In replacing Manuel Pellegrini with Pep it rather feels like the black and white television has been swapped for colour.

Proof if any was needed that money alone is no longer the deciding factor for the top players when they choose to join City. I doubt it will change any opinions though.

Similar interview in the Guardian where Jamie Jackson manages to get a dig in that there less than 6000 people at the Cityzens Weekend.

Didn't City say there were 7500, nearly 2000 more?

He actually just said 'where he was presented to close to 6,000 fans.'

Even if he got the numbers wrong stop looking for digs where none exists.

No, the petrol pump will still be spewing it's contents all the way down Joe Mercer Way, and the number of hospitals and schools that the Good Sheikh could have built with the money!

City decided on the number they wanted and issued all the tickets. If people didn't turn up after that there is nothing City can do. I'm sure the final attendance wasn't far off what they wanted. What was Jackson expecting 55000?

Disagree. He was saying there were fewer than 6000 to imply we didn't even get 6000. If his figure was correct why not round it up as in the usual practice in most estimates/guesses?

Just imagining him saying that figure with the perpetual sneer he always has in his voice when talking about City.
