Haaland Goal v Sparta - Fluke or Genius?

Sheer improvised brilliance from the records man. Fluke?!? Fking hell the beeb are bitter twats.

We obviously live in the heads of everyone at the BBC.
Fancy trying to question that goal.
They'd be better off staying quiet, giving it no attention and moving on to their petitioning of Maureen's Premier league medal for coming 2nd by 18pts with the rags

Sorry but, even by BM standards, this is a stupid thread. Haaland's principal role is to score goals and, to that end, pretty much every contact he makes with the ball is with that intention. A 'fluke' is defined as an unlikely chance occurrence, particularly an unexpected piece of luck. How in holy fuck could this goal meet that definition?

Well, did he mean it or was it just flukey. I'd like to think he meant what he was doing and Hoddle reckons he did as well.

Don't know how to add voting buttons, as that would probably help - bit like the Stones Goal thread.
Did Hoddle consult Doris Stokes?

It was definitely meant, you can see the way he puts force into the backheel just before he makes contact with the ball.

It was strange though as some media channels such as TNT were raving about how good it was, but I then listened to 5 Live after the match and they barely mentioned the goal, focussing on Nunes performance and Foden getting the first goal instead

Genius with a bit of luck.

He means then back heel and contact towards goal.

He can't really predict how high the ball was going to come up off of the turf.
