Haaland Goal v Sparta - Fluke or Genius?

Genius coupled with insane ability.
Correct. And it was the sort of goal Denis Law was famous for. Instinctive finish,at an angle most forwards could only dream of attempting. Law scored plenty of goals throughout his career with Huddersfield City Utd and Scotland ,where he found the ability to project the ball to goal from the most awkward of angles.
Genius is indeed, the only way to describe that particular rare ability.

Who the fuck says it was fluke? Some rag **** in the red cartel media? He didn't shinned it.

And Savinho's pass was perfecly weighted so Erling could do whatever the fuck he wanted.

Maybe not so unique. Torres for City away at Newcastle was ,imo, on the same high level.
Haaland's goal was unique.

Torres' goal was fantastic but there are 2 major differences that make Haaland's goal more difficult and more unique:

1. Haaland's volley was from a much greater height. Torres' was a lot easier to reach with his heel. Torres' was hip height, Haaland's was head height.
2. Haaland's volley had to change the direction of the ball. Torres just lifted it but it continued in the same general direction, Haaland sent the ball back the way it came.

He was so high he nearly took Nunes’s head off.
My only gripe today is that the press would have been creaming themselves till weekend over it if it’d been Rashford, Palmer or even Kane even though he’s in Germany, but no instead because it was Earling it’s just seething, bitter, jealous silence.

Tevez was good at that as well....the goal away at Blackpool and the league cup semi at United spring to mind

If you stretch, twist and turn ike Haaland, I can't play Twister against you.

A striker's aim is to score goals and good poachers find any contact to direct the ball through both ingenuity or graft. In some games, simplicity only gets you so far.

Everything hungry, hungry Haaland does should set a lesson for future strikers.

Genius.
