Genius
Correct. And it was the sort of goal Denis Law was famous for. Instinctive finish,at an angle most forwards could only dream of attempting. Law scored plenty of goals throughout his career with Huddersfield City Utd and Scotland ,where he found the ability to project the ball to goal from the most awkward of angles.Genius coupled with insane ability.
Maybe not so unique. Torres for City away at Newcastle was ,imo, on the same high level.Backheel bicycle kick is how I'm referring to it. Absolutely unique.
Hempo is a genius.Yeah, he's got previous with that kind of goal. Dortmund, I believe. And let's not forget Lauren Hemp scored one that could be described as fluke or genius. With City the BBC call it a fluke; if Rasmus or Ellie score it then it's genius.
Haaland's goal was unique.Maybe not so unique. Torres for City away at Newcastle was ,imo, on the same high level.
He was so high he nearly took Nunes’s head off.Haaland's goal was unique.
Torres' goal was fantastic but there are 2 major differences that make Haaland's goal more difficult and more unique:
1. Haaland's volley was from a much greater height. Torres' was a lot easier to reach with his heel. Torres' was hip height, Haaland's was head height.
2. Haaland's volley had to change the direction of the ball. Torres just lifted it but it continued in the same general direction, Haaland sent the ball back the way it came.
Tevez was good at that as well....the goal away at Blackpool and the league cup semi at United spring to mindCorrect. And it was the sort of goal Denis Law was famous for. Genius is indeed, the only way to describe that particular rare ability.
