winding down in life.
kid can't go, wife wont go without kid, its our family holiday week and as we have'nt booked anything thought a "few days in germany" would be nice.

wife has just said you go on your own.

can i do that?
am i tight?

have done already at all but one of the earlier games but still feel tight.

supporting city throws up some tough decisions and can certainly cause some problems can't it.sounds like your missus is understanding and knows how much watching the blues means to you.you can always make it up to her and your child when you get back.i'm having a few teething problems regarding hamburg.my missus birthday on the 8th and we got a family holiday booked on the 10th to ribby hall.last night she said the immortal line 'why don't you go and join up with us on the saturday'.so thats that i'm sorting it out today.its only 2 days out of life.good luck

i have been at city twice on her birthdays groclin and schalke, might be pushing it with this one as the kid misses out too.
not sure i'll go:(
going to try and persuade the wife to drop kick the kid for this time only.

sounds abit tricky for you there mate.i've had to use the 'i'm the only one out of me mates that ain't going' trick.it is very difficult trying to balance keeping her indoors happy and satisfying your own thirst for gods own club.hope you sort something out and we see you in hamburg.

i was going away for easter closing the carpet shop (yes me to) but got excited booked flights without checking dates whoops now wont get back from Hamburg till late friday night so going away for 2 nights on sat morning rather than 4 but it had to be done how often do we get chance for euro trips following city

if i got a quid for everytime someone spelt de niro wrong ......... tough choice ey bill, maybe offer some form of bait i.e. a new handbag offer, new shoes or if the worst comes to the worst an important meeting could come up ;)

totally agree with johnmc on this one my ex partner put up with me as far as the omonia away game then walked, she still lives near i still get to see my lad who is still as happy as he was before, i still have my 100% euro record ,she still moans but from afar now, the message is nobody is bigger than the club, well except my son!

My misses has just walked out on me over the Hamburg trip. I went watching City in Cyprus and it caused world war 3 with the misses and we agreed for me not to go anymore matches away in Europe unless we got in the final. I couldn't help but book the Hamburg trip. Women are a hard breed to understand. To save my marriage i might have to cancel the trip. Im fuming!

Don't worry about it. Take as long as you like. Go for the whole week. That's what I told her to say to you.

By family holiday I’m presuming sun and beach so normally the Med or Canaries?

It wont be hot, but a week in and around Lubeck would be an excellent compromise - Germany is great for family holiday, Lubeck and surrounding area is stunning.
