The sports media of this country are currently running with the thoughts that Pep could leave City and go and manage a basket-case England team. Are they fucking crazy!
1 - No way would he want to be part of that crazed English media spotlight that would rather hate than praise. He doesnt like that scenario, he likes to do his work without all the soap opera, hence coming to City and not utd etc.
2 - The sports media of this country have hammered EVERYTHING he has done here. They hate him. He's changed the game forever and they refuse to celebrate it, in fact they're more like young children who have seen someone else come along, do things MUCH better, and they chose to ignore it all. And still do. They've literally acted like little Englanders... He wont be able to do it in the PL, he cant do Stoke on a cold night, etc.
3 - He's ours. And if not at the club he has managed most then he will be going to another country and complete his knowledge before going onto manage an int. team that has some class rather than relying on Maguires and whoever plays for utd that the media demand plays.
4 - He cannot manage a group of players that he only see's twice or so a year. Not to the same level.
5 - He's got business to finish with the PL. He has to strutt his stuff after the 115 verdict comes in. He's got some faces he needs to shove into the dirt.
6 - They wouldnt let him use the PEDs, he doesnt have the £illions which is the only way he wins things, he's not English ffs, he doesnt pick the black players, he doesnt have Messi or Kevin.
The FA can fuck off.
But whats the feeling here, would people be happy to see him manage England? Leave City to be able to do that? Do both jobs?
