Happy 6-1 day!

JCL’s?

I remember that day very well. Chelsea lost 1-0 to QPR and I started supporting City, as they were top.
I flirted with Chelsea and, believe it or not, Leicester for a couple of years. I got away with wearing the same shirt as I don’t bother with a badge or sponsors logo. Not daft me.
Back to city I went for Peps second season (at Xmas, obviously. I’m not stupid).
Last season was a bit tricky and I nearly bought a red shirt a few times, I can tell you.
I’ll definitely be sticking with the boys this season, until November, at least.

I will always remember where I was that day, when number 6 went in. Getting off a plane having been to Loftus Park Street. Go Dark Light Blues!

And to think, in more desperate moments, I once considered supporting United*!

*of Leeds ;-)

I had emigrated 4 weeks before the game and had my first experience of The Banshee in Boston.
A lot of Boston's Irish in there and us small band of Blues.... A few ex pats and Yankee Blues..... Amazing day and game....
The place is now packed with City fans 8 years on...
Glory hunters.
