Good morning brother Genie and happy are those called to this supper. Easter 2021 will be observed on Sunday April 4th because Easter is a “movable feast” that is always held on a Sunday between March 22 and April 25.

Everything we do on this blessed forum is connected with the Moon and Easter is no different. If I told you, would you believe me that the date of Easter is related to the full Moon? Let’s break it down chap:

In 2021, the spring equinox happens on Saturday, March 20. The first full Moon to occur after that date rises on Sunday, March 28. Therefore, Easter will be observed on the subsequent Sunday, which is Sunday, April 4.

Easter is observed on the Sunday after the Paschal Full Moon.

It is but that's just a celebration of the event. A little bit like City winning the cup and then us followers turning out on the streets later to celebrate the deed. Ascension Day is traditionally celebrated the 40th day after Easter Sunday, that commemorates his previous ascension into heaven.
 
I think the nine day time table was Pentecost which was after ascension day but I do confess to it being a little confusing. Was it the holy spirit that "descended" on Pentecost day.
