Harry: City blew us out the water for Dzeko

We were in for him but 2 buttons and a packet of crisps wasnt enough. So we signed DB on a 2 month loan deal. Even a 36 hes still a terrfic player. City have ruined football etc etc etc....

Man City Bullied Tottenham Again – Harry Redknapp

By Ima Twat

Harry Redknapp has revealed that Tottenham were bullied again, by Manchester City when the two clubs were involved in a bidding war for Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko.

“They blow you out of the water,” Redknapp cried. “We tried to sign Dzeko, whilst we were still begging HRH David Beckham to come and sell some of our surplus shirts".

“They [Man City] said: ‘If you don’t drop out of Dzeko, we’re going to sign goldenballs. We’re interested in goldenballs. But if you pull out of Dzeko, we’ll pull out of goldenballs and then we both win".

“They wanted Dzeko badly. Kolorov was there, and obviously he was close to Dzeko – the Balkan connection. They were desperate for Dzeko. We were having a bidding war on Dzeko over the fee".

“So we had no choice really. They just said ‘We’ll blow you out of the water’. They’ve got the backing, they’ve got the clout to do that, they can do it if they want somebody.”
