Thing is mate who would honestly be surprised if we didn't sign a striker, it took us two seasons to replace Vinny for heavens sake. Would be another incomplete window if Grealish was the only signing

its now come to a point where pep needs a striker and the false 9 does not work because the forwards we have are not born strikers and miss the big chances in tight games like today. i think if the city board give pep a striker like KANE then pep stays another 3 years

today was like so many games last season ? if our false 9 forwards are not on it then who do we turn too ?

Do you honestly believe we would’ve played a poorly as we did if we’d had a proper preseason? We created 2 clear cut chances, that’s nothing to do with not having a striker on the pitch. If we’d created plenty & they were all missed, I’d be agreeing that today’s game was compelling evidence that we need a striker. We didn’t, so it isn’t.

IMahrez & Torres missed those chances, but what makes you think a different player wouldn’t have missed when both are pretty impressive finishers?
