I really hope he's right.

He'll be 31 by the start of next season. United will be stupid enough to offer him a 5 year deal and, as he'll command no transfer fee, they'll have to throw money at him to beat any 'competition' for his services. They'll probably be looking at 400-500k a week.

And he’ll have had an entire career with no trophies to show for it…

Kane has had a lot of significant lower body injuries, and he only stopped getting them when Spurs abandoned modern high pressing football for Mourinho/Conte sitting back and countering.

This season under Ange Postecoglou will be interesting because I suspect they’ll come back and IMO if he goes to a club that bases it’s play around high intensity pressing he’ll be done by 33.

If I were Spurs, I’d offer an extension of his contract with a clause that lets him go to Bayern on loan for a season so that he can get his league winners’ medal before returning to beat Shearer’s record.

If Spurs renege on the loan agreement, his new contract is null and voided.

I think having fuck all to show for it is the problem for him.

He done himself no favours by signing long term deals at Tottenham and stuck their until his early 30's. Realistically he has about 2 maybe 3 good years left and that's it.

For a striker like him after scoring so many goals and not having a league title is crazy.
