He almost got away with it. There were two suspects at the scene but the arresting copper finally sussed him out saying, "No. You're the one that I want".Allegedly one of the Coppers said he was a shit Phil Jones...

Not even an incident, a few lines saying it is an “alleged” incidentJust compare it to how other outlets reporting it, even the comic that is the Daily Mail has a headline that he has been arrested for attacking police.
The BBC calls it 'an incident' and states 'no further details have emerged'!!!
What are we paying our license fee for if they can't get the same details as the rest of the press, or even bloody read the daily mail to find out the 'alleged' details.
Simon Stone and Dan Roan are so well connected with the Rags they get to go to their corporate junkets and endlessly report the most banal and fascile details about whatever the Rags want to announce up to 15 times a day. They were capable of finding all the details about the Tag Heuer sponsorship and promoting it for the Rags. Apparently this is OK because of the Worldwide interest in all things Raggish.
Well, if there is such interest then it should work both ways.
When someone who is not just a Rag player but also their captain, and an England international is 'allegedly' arrested for 'allegedly' assaulting police you might think this would be of just as much interest, if not more.
