Utter desperation.
I think City showed how much they wanted him by offering £70m. He's probably worth more like 60m-65m. Leicester don't need to sell him this season, and they'll get the same for him if they keep hold of him for another season.
However, if they get an offer they can't refuse by a desperate club willing to pay well over is valuation, they'll take it. It's just a case of how desperate united are. £90m is crazy money.
