Twitcher shooting his mouth of again. Does he ever get sick of his own voice?

Of course Samir Nasri joined Man City for the money, says Harry Redknapp

• 'He could have gone to Manchester United. They wanted him'
• Luka Modric set to start for Spurs against Manchester City

Harry Redknapp has dismissed Samir Nasri's claim that his primary motivation for moving to Manchester City is to win trophies and insisted that the Frenchman's head was ultimately turned by a sizeable increase in his salary.

Speaking ahead of Tottenham's Premier League meeting with City on Sunday, when Nasri could make his debut for the visitors having completed a £24m move from Arsenal on Wednesday, Redknapp, the Spurs manager, said: "He [Nasri] could have gone to Manchester United, they wanted him and he wanted to go there, but then Man City came in and offered him more money so he went to Man City. That's how it goes, we have to be realistic. When people get offered the chance to treble their wages, they're going to think about it, anybody would."

While Nasri has not quite trebled his wages by moving to the Etihad Stadium, his four-year, £173,000-a-week contract does mean he has all but doubled what he was earning at the Emirates Stadium. The 24-year-old insists, however, that his "choice is about football".

"It's certainly not just about the money with City," Redknapp said. "Players will look at them and think: 'This team can win the Champions League in the next couple of years and I want to be part of that.' I would say their squad is stronger than Barcelona's, and eventually they will be challenging for everything. I'm sure they'll win the Premier League one day."

Typical Guardian shite..."Nasri joined for the money" as title, next paragraph "It's not just about money" as a quote.

Not sure how he knows Nasri's intentions however, unless Nasri told him personally but were the Spurs ever in negotiations with him?

As Nasri said in his interview he came here to be part of history, not just another player in United's squad.

According to Harry.

We've got a better team/squad than Barcelona, but Nasri should have gone to United where he's guaranteed a trophy.

Make you f***ing mind up.

Fuck off Arry what the fuck do you know you silly bollock faced twitching twunt.

Yes i mean it is inconceivable that he would like to stand out at a club thats making massive history now and the biggest project in world sport.
As opposed to another player at a club thats going like the clappers just to keep its head above water financially and is dominated by baconface.
Here he can have his name etched in some very nice marble one day if he goes for it.

Money will be part of it. It's naive to think otherwise.

He is hardly going to admit that in his first interview...

Who gives a shit as long as he does the business.

I agree with him on this but it's not his place to be talking about our buisness.

Very unprofessional.

I don't. A few seasons back maybe. Not anymore. City have the best squad in the PL. There isn't a player who wouldn't fancy playing alongside Sergio, Tevez, Dzeko, Silva, Mario, Yaya, De Jong, etc, etc.

Not only that, when Pat talks, Nasri listens.

F*** the Rags and their history. As Nasri said. He's come to make history. Our own history.
