Even though it might be beneficial for him to have another season at Brum or somewhere, it doesn't send out the right message to him IMO.

With some form of Europe next year (touch wood) we could have up to 20 extra games, surely we can play Joe in the domestic cups, and Shay in the league and in Europe? Demoting to Taylor to third place (or maybe fourth, behind some kind of clothes horse)...

it does all depend on weather we do get into Europa or C.L. if that happens then we will need him back 100%. extra games plus if shay gets an injury, need him to be there. as to weather he is ready to drop back to no.2 keeper is the big question.

our team sheet would be awesome with Joe and Shay as our 1 & 2!!

From what I've seen this season Hart is the better goalkeeper of the two anyway.

Joe has got some way to go before he's in the same league as Shay.
I don't think he'll stay, although I'd love to see him come back. He has been playing every week and improved because of that. Look at Foster who seems a shadow of his former self(haha). Joe will be off, but lets hope we get some big money for him. If Birmingham have £30m to spend they could do worse than shelling out £15m on Joe.

Joe would be a mug to leave. Look at the options for the top

Scum - we wouldn't sell
Liverpool & Chelsea - Have Reina & Cech
Arsenal - possible but can you see Wenger paying out what we would want for Joe?
Spurs - maybe but Gomes is looking better after a shaky start
Villa - need a keeper soon

We are likely to be competing for a CL spot for the foreseeable future and have more backing than Spurs or Villa.

Best bet for Joe is another season's long loan to a PL club and then come back and fight for that No 1 spot.

I don't think Hart will ever come back.

Hes making headlines now and there's a good chance he could be at the world cup next summer, possibly even playing.

He will only want first team football after that so I can see him forcing a move through.

He's actually a similar keep to Shay in some ways. Given's still ahead though and I don't see that changing in the near future.
