Has anybody got a great curry sauce recipe?

Magic if you want a great sauce I will dig out the one us use for chicken tarka.

It's like chicken tikka but it's just a little otter.

Yes, get in.

Is Tarka the name of a famous otter?
Pleaseeeeeeeee say you have been over there in the wilderness for so long you don't remember. It was a famous book, the joke is obviously better when said rather than written but yes tarka the otter was as famous as Grizzly Adams.

I make curries and they are good, but not like restaurant good. I was wondering if any of you had perfected a sauce that would raise the bar? If you are thinking Korma, keep it. Ta.
As mentioned, Dan toombs is good.
If you like tarka dhal Google it with chilli pickle as a suffix. It's a Brighton restaurant and I have tried it and it's lovely.
You say you make a good curry so I don't know what level that is but if you use fresh spices and grind them they taste so much better.
Fry the hard spices before adding base sauce or other ingredients such as onion.
Add the ground spices after that.
Chettinad chicken is easy to make and disproportionately delicious.
Let us know how you get on.
Just simmering my CTM as I type.
