Has anyone put their central heating on yet?

I would recommend cavity wall insulation. Since we had it we probably use the central heating at least 60% less. No longer have the heating coming on in the mornings as the rooms stay warm from the previous evening.

Managing to stay ahead of the robbing bastards energy companies so far, without loss of comfort.

Had it on a couple of times

This tends to keep the place warm though...

woke up at 4am this morning to go for an elk hunt with my muzzleloader( this is not a piss take), it was 10 below at the house, not a big deal but by the time I got to my hunt it was -30 C. I waited until it got to - teens, took off and saw a few elk. They seemed unaffected by the cold, birds were flying around, anyone of us would most probably have frozen to death. Probably doesn't have a lot to do with central heating, I know it started that way...but...maybe we are from somewhere else............................

Thankyou Humbolt Ct

That carpet looks like a "Landlord special, whole house for £199"
I'd expect more from a millionaire tbh.
