If reports over the last couple of week are true that no players respect MH and that there were secreate meetings made by the players etc, Its safe to say he has lost the dressing room and if thats gone what hope have we got!!!

Whats your views do you reckon MH has lost the dressing room or is it just Media hateing City Again?? Thoughts ........

He should find it as it says "Home team" on the front door.

I agree but only half of it, the likes of Ball, Elano, Hamann TBH, etc. You can see it on the pitch the ones who a trying, I would also inlcude Richards in that little lot.

A couple of back to back wins would definately help but we are not capable of doing this we are not capable of puting the same effort in two halfs of the same game at the moment and yes MH has lost the dressing room i think that is obvious to everybody

With 5-6 new players coming in before Feb it will be a new dressing room with new players keen to impress there new fans, and manager same effect as a new manager so if we can bring this many players in with a couple of hughes pals (santa cruz, bellend) and bench the misfits or set bellend on them if they get out of line things will start to look up for us

I am really in a split wether he is the right man for the job. When we 1st got him i thought it was a good appointment as he did a great job at Blackburn and thought finally, someone who can get our players fit, organised and good at set pieces, which we have been awful at for years.

I know he has only been here 5 minutes and he needs to bring his own players in, but surely in the time he has been here we should be better at set peices, at both ends of the pitch. Also you do have to question his tactics and motivation, and defeats v Forest, Brighton, West Brom, Wigan, Bolton, Spurs, Middlesborough and lucky not to add Blackburn to that list are far too many.

Lastly i thought he was a tough disciplinarian. If so, why is he letting players wear jewlery on the bench (ie Vassel). That is just inexcusable. can you see Wenger or any other top manager allowing that.

I think we should give him to the end of the season at least, give him the chance to bring some of his buys in January but he needs to vastly improve to win me over starting buy sorting out the set pieces (you know when we get a corner the other team has more chance of scoring than we do), start players in correct positions, drop those who week in and out have failed to perform (im sure he will after January buys).

His training methods do not work at the top end of the prem. He states his teams always come good in the second half of the season, due to their fitness. This is after his team is out of all the cups so just plays their prem games. The high intensity fitness worked for us against Gillingham as they were dead on their feet at 85 mins. If you have highly skilled players you do not need the fitness, they don't have to run round chasing the ball all game. Can you imagine any of the top 4 coping with his training methods and all the games they play and you can clearly see no work is being put into passing or set pieces at the moment. I know Sven had his faults, but had we had the skill levels in the team his aproach would have seen us further up the table. All the players we are linked with now, RSC, Belamy etc will all be those that will only survive mid table due to fitness rather than skill alowing them to beat teams in the last 10 mins of a game.

you seen the way they were at blackburn, when most of them hugged him.

He hasnt lost it, but people are losing faith in him.

I agree with that!!!

Yet it was Sturridge that ignored him on Saturday and Elano that tried to sort it out.

I am very unsure. i think he has lost aspects of it. but it looks as though those players will be shipped out instead of Hughes.

I suspect the same.

You can buy a lot of things with money - however unity, togetherness, team spirit, willingness to play for the manager - you can not buy!! Bringing in 5/6 players will not create any of the above, you may get a lift due to enthusiasm and eagerness but thats about it.

F**k it even if he has lost the dressing room he'll be bring in another 5-6 players which will mean he'll have signed a whole new team with subs. Therefore there will be no dressing room to lose becuase they'll be a whole new set of players for MH to p**s off

Considering it's the transfer window i see this as an oppurtunity for MH to lay down the law, let the players that are unhappy know they can leave as finding replacements is no longer a problem. As for those players unhappy with not starting, it happens at all clubs. If you dont like it either battle for a place, or leave. There is no place in this team for players that 'expect' to play and those that aren't prepared to put the work in to prove they are worthy of a place in the side
