Has the BBC become a Tory tool?

She has won awards for journalism, just because she hasn't got your world view doesn't mean she can't be a journalist mate.
Do you mean,
Kate Andrews who is a prominent lobbyist for private healthcare companies. Andrews is currently news editor for the Institute of Economic Affairs, a hard-right thinktank which promotes the shrinking of the welfare state. Before that, she was with the equally hard-right Adam Smith Institute. As a spokesperson for Republicans Overseas UK, it was Andrews' job to sell the
ideology of the US Republican Party to Britain. And everyone knows how the Republican Party
feels about taxpayer-funded healthcare. You mean that one ,think I past .

Again, still doesn't mean she isn't a journalist. Are you suggesting she isn't because she doesn't have the same world view as you?

Which newspaper has she written for?

Do you think she deserves the amount of airtime, given her niche and infrequent publishing?

Are you suggesting she is because she has the same world view as you?

Could you give us an example of a New Statesman-esque version of this particular lady?

She is an editor at the Spectator and has a column in the Telegraph (same owner, I think).
That is probably enough to claim to be a journalist.

There's no justification for her repeated appearances though - she's pretty irrelevant to the world yet gets to preach her campaign over and over.

Fair point that. When they have had Brand and Barton on QT, and random actors, it's time that Binface gets an invite.
