Has the Capital 1 Cup Final become the pivotal game of the season?

As it is our only realistic chance of silverware, I would suggest it is the pivotal game of the season

Don't post often, emotion's to the fore......If we do not win sunday ,Our season is over. The business aspect of pelligrini's tenure would be considered a failure. He won with Mancini's team, failed the 2nd & 3rd time round. leaves with a pocket full of cash...goes on to his next gig.....pockets full of more cash.. success comes at a huge emotional price for the fan

Hjm1962 you absolutely nail it with this post. The importance of Sunday's fixture will be how we assess the reign of Manuel. You sum it up perfectly.

Let's just win the fucking thing and then move on to our next target. It's as just likely to kick start our season as it is to being the only silverware we win!
