im guessing were all gonna watch it, what does everyone think?

its definately a close match up, but, although i hate to say it i think manny's superior speed combined with his superior boxing skills will win this fight.

Manny has beaten (badly) some of the greats of the sport...and has out classed them each time, by outworking, out fighting and the old....hitting and not geting hit. i see combinations in ricky face all night to be honest.

but hatton does have the power, i guess its a question of how much more power does he have and can manny take it?

P4P
the other thing, if hatton was to win, then i dont see why hes saying he will be P4P king?!, hatton is currently outside the top 10, so by beating the number 1 he will move up yes, to about number 4/5, but this would be a one fight achievement, and dosnt justify becoming number 1....maybe if he went on to beat mayweather or marquez then yes he would deserve it, not just beating one guy. hell, manny could get a shock loss against a contender, that dosnt mean they become P4P!

manny got there by firstly being humble and NEVER mentioning he deserves it, after all, its a title given by the pundits and by saying you will be the number 1 if you beat such and such is a bit stupid...... and by continuously beating the best fighters out there, winning titles at 3/4/5 different weight divisions (something hatton has struggled with).....damn, it took pacman beating the best around him then having to go up a further 2weights and whooping De la hoyas butt to get there!! so really, if Hatton wins, the title of P4P should naturally go to the number 2 in marquez.

anyway i hope hatton wins though i cant see it,

sadly Manny 8th round....
please let me be worng

Looking forward to the fight both like to mix it,however i think people are reading to much into the De la hoya victory,De La Hoya was beaten making the weight for me. 140lb is Ricky at his best,i cant see anyone out there stronger than him, early doors i expect Pacmans speed will be his main asset.I think Ricky will take him out with a body shot in the second half,i'd go for rds 7/8.

Heres the pick of the uk side of the bill, fingers crossed for Jamie too

12x3 heavyweight Danny Williams v John McDermott
12x3 middleweight Thomas McDonagh v Sam Webb
12x3 light middleweight Jamie Moore v Roman Dzuman
12x3 super bantamweight Rendall Munroe v Isaac Nettey
10x3 light middleweight Andrew Facey v Gary Woolcombe

this is what makes it such an intreguing match up

sky program says 10pm, not sure if thats the hatton fight or the pre-main event fights......

usually though your lookin at 1-2am

Pac man by stops him in the 8th and Ricky takes a beat down-sorry lads the only person that can stop the Pac Man is the Pac Man himself!

Just hope there is no head but or a cut!
