When Chelsea signed palmer for us I said to a fella in work that he’d never be a star I don’t know why but I just thought when he played for city he looked greedy and would often make the wrong decision but I have watched him quite often recently for Chelsea and I think he looks more and more like KDB hanging in the channel and always looking to break the lines when he receives the ball

No. £45m for him was a good price, I think anyway. Maybe your impression of him is equally wrong now? But I dont think City do clangers like that, we analyse the shit out of everyone. Do we have a sell on clause for him?

Sadly, Cole wanted to go. His form for us didn’t warrant him being a starter but he wanted more minutes. Shame he couldn’t have been patient for a little longer but you live by your decisions and I think it’s Cole that’s dropped the clanger.

Sadly, Cole wanted to go. His form for us didn’t warrant him being a starter but he wanted more minutes. Shame he couldn’t have been patient for a little longer but you live by your decisions and I think it’s Cole that’s dropped the clanger.

I wouldn’t say he’s dropped a clanger. He’s playing regularly every week and I’d argue he’s Chelsea best player. Even if he’d have stayed this season I think he would have been a rotation player.

his form before he left was really good, scoring in a few games. Prior to that it’s difficult to judge a youngster who didn’t really play that much.

It’s his choice, but he looks like a top player right now and I doubt he’s regretting it yet

Thought he's been fairly shite like the rest of the Chelsea team bar putting away a few pens. So yeah maybe we should have kept him to score pens
