Sorry if I've shot my load a bit early on this one; could have posed the question a few hours later.

The point is not have we got rid of the deadwood, it's have we changed the perceptions of other teams and agents through our dealings this window. We played hardball over Tevez, didn't give in to NDJ's wage demands and picked up Sinclair and Maicon for a relative song.......but what about the prices we paid for Rodwell, Nasty and Garcia?
