Have we finished selling

I'm upset about Suarez leaving but it's our own fault for not giving him an opportunity. Hopefully with the next gen they'll get a chance to play a bit
I am not upset because despite not watching him in person Suarez hasn't done anything to merit his inclusion in the first team, from what I have read and the videos I have watched.

Regardless of if it was a carling cup match against bottom of league 2, he has to prove himself at his own level before he can move up and by all accounts Suarez just hasn't done that.

We have been playing in the NextGen competition since it started and have been embarrassed every time. Yet some on here think some of the key/most expensive players in that team deserve to be even on the bench for the first team.

You don't see Barcelona sticking any old youngster on the bench to prove they will promote youth, they give the space to the shining light, the best player in the team. Example; Gerard Deulofeu.

The likes of Montoya, Batra and so on play in the first team because they impress in the B team and so on.
Past few years, we have had no one who has really torn it up. Lopes and Pozo have impressed with some top performances but not been consistent, nor has Suarez. Why should he be on the bench ahead of a first team squad player?

Have we found a buyer for Barry?

-

Scott Sinclair, Garth Barry and Denis Suarez, who have all been linked with moves away from the Etihad Stadium this summer, were left behind in Manchester as Pellegrini arrived with a 21-man squad.

Asked if they are now set to leave the club, the Chilean added: ‘We’ll see next week. Scott Sinclair is not here with the squad. Scott is in Manchester. Denis Suarez, Gareth Barry and Scott Sinclair are in Manchester.’

I wish Suarez would stay. But wouldn't mind seeing Barry and Sinclair go, that's 150k in salary freed up for replacements.

Barry must go, and it is up to Rodwell to seize the opportunity.

3 homegrown players out and none in wouldn't be the best thing, though.

Seems like Sinclair and Barry are the players to make way for another signing. CB i guess? I guess Pellegrini only needs 2 double pivots, Ferna-Yaya and Rodwell-Garcia. Although the drop in quality there is pretty big.

Maybe Rodwell - Milner

If Barry is going surely that must mean we are bringing in a DM? Hope it's Gustavo, top class destroyer and chips in a few goals.

Suarez, Sinclair, Barry and Kolarov to go before the window imo

Can't see anyone coming in, can see why people would want a centre back as the defensive performance against Milan without Kompany and Nastasic was hardly promising but it looks as if pellegrini is putting his trust in Boyata. I also think Rekik will be in and around the first team next season, he has been brilliant so far for PSV so signing a Pepe type player might halt his development.

I would love another winger like Willian but our attacking options are very crowded as it is so that looks unlikely to come of.

Could do with a left back if Kolarov leaves but Zaba can do a job there with Richards coming in at RB.

taking a big risk selling Kolarov and Barry without bringing in replacements plus the CB. I'd rather have Kolarov than no back up LB and if we sell Barry then we only have two CMs to back up Yaya and Fernandinho. I think it would be good to get a back up CB in (not sure Pepe is the answer though as he wouldn't be prepared to rotate a lot) and DM brought in like Gustavo. A young LW to replace Sinclair would be bonus too (although I wouldn't mind seeing Lopes/Pozo play there).

Fernandinho was the replacement. And Rodwell a year older.

Milner can play in the middle as well.
