Hay fever

Have it bad myself.

This year it's been my eyes, which have been very itchy.

I just can't force myself to stop scratching them. it's awful waking up the next day with very bagged up eyes, looking like shit :-(

Seen 3 different doctors, given me advice/anti-histamines and so on... no solution.

One night I put a damp cold cloth on my eyes.... ooooooh Paradise :-) has eased off the itching and I've had a few nights sleep recently without scratching my eyes.
Hopefully my life can get back to "normal"

Had it all day today. Sneezing, sore throat and itchy eyes. Its bloody horrible

Anyone else suffer from it?

I used to get it really bad for a good twenty years or so then suddenly it just stopped and i just didn't get it anymore more. I never took out medication wise i just tuffed it out. It was awful, when i used to get my eyes felt like they were on fire and my nose i just wanted to cut the bloody thing of. As it was so blocked up itchy and runny that it drove me mad nuts.

I feel for you fella hopefully it wont last that long.

I get an itchy throat and itchy eyes. In fairness I feel that the tablets make it worse. My conspiracy is that they try and make you buy more talents by making it worse than it originally was.

Steroids are the only answer for severe hayfever ! Had it for 40 years the only thing that works is prednisolone ! Mention it to the dr ! They are a bit reluctant but it works a treat !

Just certain pollens, had it last week after cutting grass.
Eyes were stuck together when i woke up.Red, itchy, swollen and streaming.
not very nice at all.
When i lived in Jersey i had it pretty bad then nothing until last week.
Shades on full time even in the shops i must have looked a right cnut
but they were purely for medical reasons.

Tablets do work - or just sit inside a dark room to alleviate the itchyness.

Only problem with the anti histamines is that they knock me to sleep - I can't fight it. Solution is to take them in the evening.
Still sneezing all day though but my eyes are less itchy.
