Mancini

when I hear him get interviewed it makes me smile

We are so lucky to have him as our manager!

Come on City

one thing i dont unyderstand, how can opposition fans still question Mancini? he has won alot and made us almost impossible to beat i dont get it.

oh yes we are very lucky to have him!

There's a lot of Liverpool & utd fans who reckon City will never win the league under Roberto, claiming he's too negative in his tactics. It would be great if we did to shut the cunts up.

We can steal Liverpool's god-given CL spot... but we can't win the league. What does that say about Liverpool?

Won Italian cup despite having to sell his best players at Fiorentina.

Won Italian cup despite having to sell his best players and have the rest forced to take an 80% pay cut.

Won Serie A three times and got to two Italian cup finals with Inter.

No doubt about his pedigree.

Mancini is one of the most tactically aware coaches around, he knows what's needed to win, compare him to Redknapp for instance they are worlds apart, in the top bracket as far as coaches go,they say where he may have a problem is man management but unless you have worked with or been around him how would you know

Two words Top Class

Class act and and more importantly a winner.

Let the doubters keep doubting....

claiming he's too negative in his tactics

Playing under Keegan was exciting but I would rather win 1-0 rather than get beat 4-3 and win the league. They dont know what they're talking about.

And his playing career! He was more than just a talented player, he was a great mind when he played.

Mancini has it seems one of the best win ratio's in the clubs history - he is changing the history by making it.

(it does say updated till May 2010 - but the figures are up to date I think.)

Statistics and all that I know. I can only see this figure rising ... 70% and you are winning stuff - Guardiola and Mourinho are in the 68 - 74% bracket most seasons.

Mourinho and Guardiola are much better managers than Mancini though.

That said, it will be interesting to see how Roberto does compared to Mourinho

I honestly beleive it has took him a bit of time to get used to the Prem, but this season he will show that he has learnt many hard lessons from last season, not that last season was bad, but it was a learning curve.

One thing that has surprised me, is just how ruthless he can be, in interviews he does not come across that way

We need to get Commitee back, he was fookin awesome :D

The way he stood up to Bellamy/Adebayor and Tevez showed me he was capable of being the required level of c*nt; but Carlos also got space (whatever Carlos!).

I took a look at Baconface and Whinger - 59% & 58% respectively. Mancini is 56% (historically) and rising. Sweet!

FORZA MANCINI!

If I was Nige/Vinnie/Zab/YaYa/David/etc I would WANT a c*nt at the helm.

This is a case of watching a team a few times and dismissing them at your peril. Anyone who reads the headlines they want to see instead of tracking a teams progress are only fools to themselves. Mancini has developed this team EXACTLY how we needed him to. Shored up the defence, introduced guile, creativity and direct play in the midfield and added the killer touch at the sharp end,

Its prevalent in common thinking that theres unrest, lack of cohesion and selfish individuality throughout the team. The accusers point the finger in that direction for one reason only. They are simply to scared to come out of their own deluded comfort zone for long enough to be able to contemplate anything else. In short....they are shit scared.....and with very good reason.

The negativity is a myth anyway, the full-backs just didn't do their job last season so we were creatively starved. Kolarov and Boateng were signed to attack and swing great crosses into the box and both failed. Micah found his shoes but is not a great attacking full-back so it didn't make much difference on the attacking front. It left us with one creative player, Silva (to a lesser extent Johnson but he's no playmaker), and that is why teams like Birmingham and Everton were able to shut us out.

Next season we'll have the extra creative player in the middle (Nasri) which will make a huge difference and should kill that stagnant feel that was too often found in our midfield.

One thing that surprises me is his willingness to adapt.

In his first full transfer window he was signing players like Kolarov and Milner. Since then it seems he's learned how much pace plays a part of the PL. Clichy and Aguero are signed, with links to Cerci, Eto'o and Nasri. Notice how all of them have pace.

One of the most depressing aspects of the season was the feeling that Mancini would bring Serie A type players to the PL, which was reinforced by Dzeko. Couldn't have been more wrong on that one. I like that he learns and isn't stuck in his ways like Wenger.

The good thing about Bobby is that whilst he may seem friendly and happy in the public eye, you can tell he has a ruthless side when it comes to dealing with players...he won't take any sh*t. He's a much stronger character than some people give him credit for and I for one am very happy with him in charge

one thing that made me think that the players now know who is in charge and that they respect him was when they showed footage of the open top bus and it showed vinne passing the cup to some one and saying "pass this to the boss"

He never loses his cool in interviews i don't think he is the type of person to play silly mind games ether like the rest of the over hyped manager in the prem.

And the on thing that makes him stand out as well is that he always respects the other team we are playing he never Say's a bad word about them in the pre match interviews or there managers.

I have total respect for him.
