I read this today and it is shocking, I do not even want to use this to bash the Tories, but you have to question the stupidity of getting rid of Sure Start and of course the effects of austerity on our great city.

It is a long read, but if you don't want to read it all just check out some the highlights. We also of course have to question if Labour have the answers to these problems.

In fairness if you have a heart attack on the pavement it's something to look up to while you wait 8 hours for an ambulance.

Even with a pacemaker her heart racing at 265 beats a minute it’s a three to four hour wait for an ambulance here.
I’d say it’s a north west problem and the advice is go by car, when you get there it’s a triage system all the ambulances lined up outside and the drivers held up in the corridor waiting to hand their patient over
No beds so the patients line up on trolleys in the corridor while your attended to by the ambulance crew
Successive Tory government is to blame currently the media is pushing the channel boat crossings as more important than the crisis in our healthcare system

By the way the ambulance service ask if your breathing/unconscious if your not you that’s the criteria for moving up the queue .
