Was walking back to city centre and a few youngsters were singing this, took me all night to think what song they were singing it to but found it now

What a delight seeing David Silva

In the blue of City

Have you built a time machine & gone back to the 1950s?
Youngsters, today, singing "what a delight" They didnt also say "isnt this a whizard song boys" & "see you next week old chap" by any chance?

How about a Silva song to the tune of 'singing in the rain'

Silva is his name
david sil-va is his name
Now it's glory for City
we're happy again
We'll win all our games
When david plays from Spain
It's Silva
David Silva is his name
doo de doo doo doo de doo de doo doo doo de doo doo doo de doo de doo doo

I quite like that and i think the, doo de doo doo doo de doo de doo doo doo de doo doo doo de doo de doo doo would be funny hearing thousands of blues doing that.

Courtesy of FannyFart and scottyboi, to the tune of womack womack teardrops. Only two lines so far people feel free to add:

Silva on a football, reminds me Kinky of you,
Teardrops in my eyes, Coz Silva is a blue, is a blue, is a blue!

How about

o·lé o·lé o·lé o·lé
Dav-id Sil-va

Simple, but not very original. "o·lé " is a spanish word meaning Approval or something similar.

or
David Silva, David Silva nah na nan nah nah nahh (like we used to do for Asa Hartford, but without the scarf swinging!).
