Glad you are ok mate, had a quadruple bypass 9 years ago(aged 39) and I shit myself !! the worrying is the worst part, was convinced I was going to die on the table ! once I woke up fully I was back to normal, discharged about 4 days later.Take care of yourself fella and Im sure Mrs Nimrod could get on top gently ;-)
Keep taking the pills and try not to cough or sneeze !!

Shit!!!! That's fucked up!

my thoughts too

Glad to hear everything went well mate. Hope you're well on the way to a full recovery.

Been down the stents route twice, not quite the same as you're problem, but if you're like me its the antisipation of the procedure that causes the worry and not the ability of the surgeons who will do the operation.
Glad it went well, great to have you back on board sir.

yes mate, the worry of it all beforehand.....Im not feeling sorry for myself here but when the literature says you should put your affairs in order it worries you, I found out a lot about what I was having and why (Im an engineer :)), it was going to be a 4 hour Op, during which time my heart would be stopped, both my lungs would be collapsed, I would have 4 chest drains, a blood infusion, various machines with probes stuck all over me, tubes down my throat and up my dick.......its not an uncommon procedure nowadays, but still when you find out all that........its gonna get you anxious

FFS now you're just showing off getting all that attention ;-)
Everyone is now back in bluemoon mode mate haha, all the best :-)

Glad it 's going well, mate.
You will be back to normal before you know it. Scary shit you have been through, though.

My best mates old man had a Heart transplant about 6 months ago and to see the change in him is amazing. Out cycling all the time, in the gym, basically won't sit still when that's about all he could do before.

Don't think he had a huge amount of time left before he got the call, he had it around midnight, "taxi will be outside in 10 minutes pack your bags your getting a new heart" although amazing news it can't do your current ticker much good. lol

he was driven 30 miles by taxi to an ambulance and Blue lighted 200 miles to London, if i remember correctly he had his new heart in him by midday.

Was amazing to here my mate talk about talking to the surgeon afterwards and how easy he made the operation sound basically saying it's 4 bits of pipe very simple to do. obviously it's not but there you have it.

They did see the other side of it to as a young lad in his mid 20's also waiting for a heart died in the hospital that night :(
