sounds like a proxy problem, google doesn't have problems with this, one ot the experts will tell you why, maybe to do with cookies

It sounds like your settings with that damned enhanced security center.

Personally i would just use this browser <a class="postlink" href="http://www.mozilla.org/products/download.html?product=firefox-10.0.2&os=win&lang=en-US" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.mozilla.org/products/downloa ... lang=en-US</a>.

That or turn the enhanced security center as it is pretty useless anyway.

The authentication box is a problem at our end that we've been experiencing tonight. In the process of sorting it, but in the meantime it's probably worth bookmarking the forum link, rather than the homepage, as there are no problems with that:

<a class="postlink" href="http://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk</a>
