hello lads.

we are about 10 danes coming over 26 feb. we will be coming in and out from leeds airport.
and its my job to make it happen :-(

the planes is ok but finding a cheap hotel near a trainstation is a bit of a problem.
it got to be close so we can make the trip whit hangovers friday morning so not 3 miles away.

ps. how is it whit the bars do they close at 02.00 ?

pss. one more... do you have any rules about alcohol at stadium i remember at hamburg that they testet peoble and my buddy was denied access whit 2.3 and the limied were 1.0.

hope you can help me a littel bit.

thanks gisselbaek

Take a look at <a class="postlink" href="http://www.travelodge.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">www.travelodge.co.uk</a> - they do reduced-rate rooms from £19/night if you get on there quickly enough.

i would pay the extra and stay in the city centre, its only 10 minutes from the stadium but right in the middle of all the bars, you can then just roll in to your bed when drunk.
never seen anyone tested for beer but its best to be sensible, you can go and get drunk to drown your sorrows after the game:)
good luck and i hope you enjoy your visit.

one of these in the city centre..... premier inn, ibis or travelodge. can't go wrong, cheap and good value for money.

Any of the city centre hotels mentioned are your best bet. Pubs shut anytime between 11pm and 1am in the centre, but a lot of bars, and certainly the clubs are open later than 2am.
As for alcohol and the stadium, well you can't take your own in, nor take any purchased in the stadium into the seats. No tests for alcohol consumed are done on entering the stadium, but goes without saying, that if you turn up ratted, they won't let you enter.
Have a great time!

Hi Mate stay here, if you book now it will set you back £39 a night midweek, nice, basic clean rooms nearl loads of bars etc and a mile walk from the stadium or £5 in a taxi.
