It's not either of the ones posted above but thanks for trying lads. I've asked our kid again and he says it sounds very like U2 but probably isn't, an we think part of the lyric is 'we are the champions'. But not the Queen song obviously.

Great song - great band.
We are friends with the lead singer Coyle - he is a City fan.
They are from Otley originally but now based in New York - Coyle often in The Mad Hatter for the City games
