Help needed - Saw us at Edgeley park ( neutral venue ) but who did we play ?

Memory worse than mine
Unfortunately true it is shockingly bad! I can remember some games though - 1 in particular was away at Middlesborough's old ground Ayresome park. The game was probably almost abandoned due to fog. We literally could not see the opposite half of the pitch! It didn't stop us from celebrating imaginary goals though!

Ha ha I was at that one as well! In the first half Boro were attacking the away end and as there was no way the Boro fans at the other end could see anything as we couldn’t see them, we kept doing really loud cheers to make them think they had scored! Needless to say they had the last laugh when the fog cleared and they beat us. Then again in the FA Cup about a month later!

We were singing 'Coton what's the score' as you could see fuck all.

Also at that game , we had our car stolen and had to cadge a lift on a coach

So not a good night especially after the result! Not like Boro since as they did us in both cups that season!
They also doubled us in the first few weeks of the following season, up at Boro in August our first away game, 2-0 down after about 15mins, Quinn harshly sent off, Paul Lake carried off and never returned. Not a great night out!

Chester is the one team I have seen City play away on three grounds.
I was at a pre season friendly in 1985 at Sealand Road, the League Cup game as mentioned in this thread and at the Deva Stadium in the FA Cup in 2000.

City have played Brighton at three stadiums during my time of watching them - Goldstone Ground, Withdean Stadium and Amex but I have been in the US since playing at the latter two (they also played at Gillingham's ground too but City didn't play them there)
Four if you count the FAC semi at Wembley
Edit: saw someone beat me to it
Have we ever played anyone at 5 grounds?
