We didn't play any recorded matches in June 1972, we played a post-season friendly (maybe a testimonial?) at Oxford on May 5th but after that the next matches were on a pre-season tour of Sweden in July that year where we played Hammarby, Hull City, Partick Thistle and Ope IF.
