There's a broad spectrum of people in any profession. With coppers and any other front-line emergency service the wrong-uns come under the spotlight a whole lot more, and that's not a bad thing. I just wish the media were more balanced and less sensationalist in the way they report this kind of stuff. But then we all know the British media has become more of an agenda driven, propaganda fuelled click-bait machine over the last 30 years or so.
