The environment agency has even evacuated the people from their boats that are moored at the marina!

Airport relief road A555 shut again due to flooding.

Who'd havet though building a road with a huge divot in the middle just outside of rainy Manchester would have resulted in so frequent flooding and closures?

I believe the issue here was that, after almost three decades when they built the middle of the ring road to connect near nowhere to elsewhere, after finally deciding to complete it they realised that they hadn't given enough clearance under the bridges for trucks to pass under.

The solution? Dig deeper under those bridges of course! Scoop, scoop, scoop. Then just tarmac the bugger and run away with the dosh before it pelts it down again.

Struggling here in Hawarden.. one brick left before it comes in the house.. the drains just can’t cope with the run off from the fields behind us

my only concern is whether would be classed as force majeure or would we be able to claim?

Latest is that the Mersey is now expected to overflow between 5pm and 11pm.Parrs Wood fields completely underwater,West Didsbury and Withington golf course now in great danger ,especially around Darley Avenue and Mersey Bank.Getting very worried now.

That's Northenden Golf Course on the left. It's a couple of feet lower than the river.
