This is the latest fucking saying I am hearing all the time for players joining or are about to join City...So only footballers joining city are interested in money....Fuck sake. Why dont people get it...

I know what you mean mate, but I've finally reached the stage now where I've read so much bullshit about our glorious club that I no longer give a fuck about the hate and jealousy from others. I've begun to laugh at the small minded bitterness of everton, spurs, villa, rags, liverpool and particularly arsenal. As loads on here keep saying (and I don't know why it's taken so long for the penny to drop with me) it's all rooted in fear of a blue planet!

Kiss us where the sun don't shine, the past was theirs, but the future's our's - to paraphrase ;-)

all i say to the pricks that say the same thing to me is Gareth Barry,he said he joined City to win trophies and play champs league football and that is what he as got

I must say I'm struck by how few non-City fans seem as concerned about 'the arab getting bored' as they once were on our behalf.

They've moved on from that as we've progressed up the league. Oppo fans are forever changing their opinion of us:

When the takeover happened it was "You won't attract any big name players, and your owner will fuck off when he realises how shit City are"

When we started signing big name players it was "They've only gone for the money because City will win nowt and won't get a CL spot. Oh, and your owner will fuck off when he gets bored"

When we bagged a CL spot and won the FA Cup it was "That's what £500 million buys you - one poxy trophy."

When the Etihad sponsorship deal was announced it was "That's blatant cheating. FFS UEFA, get these cunts kicked out of Europe!"

And when we don't get kicked out of Europe and the full scale of the redevelopment plans are announced it'll be "Boohoo! That's not fair. I'm giving up on football forever!"

By the way, 2 things that haven't changed all along this process are that we're "ruining football" and we've got "no history".

^^ This , well worded and totally accurate which when reading makes you laugh a bit really not get mad.

Why are you suprised? The same fans still believe our defence sucks :)

i truly think they sleep better at night making themselves believe all this BS.

Quite simply not even close to being a valid argument since we won the FA Cup and secured champions league football. No blue should get agitated or feel insecure about it

just tell them who is playing for free? name one player?

these players get paid like you and me for a job they do and if they find a better job they will move
