Highly critical article about Citys' owners

It’s easy to be critical of our owners but first point me in the direction of another owner who’s not only transformed a football club, rejuvenated an area, invested heavily into a city, raised the bar for women’s football and focused on developing young players to name a few things.

I can only think of one who ticks all these boxes in England.
This is an extremely good point.

Fully agreed, an article that reeks of low effort and trying to piggy back on to city being a hot topic while we're winning

Yep. More than half of all shares in UK-based companies are now in foreign hands. It'll be interesting to see Nick sift through that little lot exposing the owners who are not Hampstead liberals.

Did they have a problem with our owner when he propped up Barclays bank during the financial crash, another seemingly brilliant bit of business to the tune of 3bn, we are in marvelous hands.

No because we don’t know all the facts! But just because they have been fantastic football owners and turned my club into the force it is today doesn’t mean I’m going to be hypocritical and turn a blind eye to any negative press about them.
I assume you live in the UK. Are you aware of the British Government's past & that of the Royal family for that matter?

Do these sit OK with you, or are you considering leaving the UK anytime soon? Show me one ruling family or a country with an elected parliament who haven't got to their positions of power without spilling barrels of blood in the process.

Is this the same simple Simon from the BBC sport because if it is all he doing is putting this article out to a wider audience which would be the work of a rag.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think it is and also done in an underhand way as you say to distribute the post further but also saying he doesn't agree with it isolating City but also that it is fair at the same time to taint our owner.

Has anyone read this piece of shit article?

I dunno if it's been posted yet, but it starts of as such a positive piece & the goes down the toilet u-bend. I stopped reading halfway through....

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2017/dec/24/who-pays-for-manchester-city-beautiful-game

It’s an utterly bizarre article. He starts off as a United fan wanking off over City’s football then, albeit briefly, goes on to criticise the UAE and the conditions migrant workers face, then he veers off in a completely different direction to talk about Brexit and UK politics.
