Delph is going to be key for us over the christmas period with his versatility both at left back and midfield, fernandinho will have to be rested at some stage and its likely he will get a suspension soon enough and delph is currently our best bet there so id rest him whenever possible and not risk him getting an injury too. Gives stones a co petitive game to test him in that position too. Bernardo likewise will be vital now that Silva's out for a bit and KDB isn't yet back and probably won't hit the ground running so he needs to be protected too. Only reason I wouldn't bother playing Diaz is the guy is seemingly leaving us in the summer and therefore his development is no longer our concern, harsh but the reality of football at the top, i don't expect him to feature for us again unless were struggling in those areas and at the minute it's one of our most stocked positions.

Agree with most of what youve said. Don't know much about the Diaz situation .Certainly Bernardo could fill in for Dave And Stones for Dinho . This could be key particularly in league games . Pep is most concerned about the league and that is why he may "rest" certain players for that and rely on others for CL and League Cup in my view . It is a bit of a lottery though and we've just got to trust that he will make the right calls. He will surely want to have Dave and Fern back for the big one on the 3rd January.
Plus, two home league games give us a little bit of respite. It's not all doom and gloom.

They really need to sort the ticket system out though to stop people leaving these single seats between their selection. Even the Cineworld website stops you from doing that.
 
Well if all 4 English teams progress as it looks now and we finish top it will be either
Shalke04
Ajax
Atletico Madrid or Dortmund
Roma
as we can't draw an English side and they are all qualifying in 2nd spot at half time
