Holiday pay

I believe that once an employee is furloughed they can no longer work for the company in any capacity, the furlough period is to be taken in one block rater than split over a period of time.

While Furlough and the thought of 3 months off on 80% pay sounds alright it is in effect a step away from losing your job.

A lad has just been told he's no longer needed and been effectively sacked. He was leaving on April 10th and was working his months notice period. The rest of which he's been told will be paid at 80%.

Got told over text too which has left a sour taste in my mouth. I'm fairly new with the company.
