Despite his injuries he’s still had a decent career at the very top level. Still makes me laugh thinking about how Hughes used to be ched evans over him.

Yes it was beyond ridiculous. It just about summed up that time. It was plainly obvious who was the most talented and who was going to have the better career.

I agree he has, but that year at Pool 2013/14 he looked absolutely sensational.

I remember thinking Alex Nimely would definitely make after it banging them in for fun at u18 level, but he’s achieved very little in senior football. David ball also fits into that category.
