Hooliganism and Violence Maine Road 80's/early 90's

If that was 87, me and my mate joined the escort. Dogs and horses knocking around but still felt dodgy as fuck. There was trouble at the turnstiles and then you had to walk behind their stand to get to the away bit. Load of lads out that day. We only had about 800 there I reckon and it was all lads. Adcock winner. Kicked off at London Bridge after the game.
Kicked off before the game. Went down on the special for that game. IIRC we went in through the away turnstiles and then once the other side we mingled with Millwall fans as there was no segregation until we went into the terrace. Very odd. About 800 was right although further visits saw us take upto 4,000 for the game that I think Mark Ward scored. We had the whole end behind the goal rather than the pokey corner

That mingling bit after the turnstile was crazy. Kept in after the game for what seemed like an age and then all put on a train back to London Bridge where Millwall were waiting. They were pretty outnumbered though from memory as I vaguely remember them coming down the steps from the overhead walkway. Yes I didn’t go to the games you mention but YouTube footage shows a much bigger turnout for those games. That corner was pokey and I remember our seats being next to it but only a few in them.

Yeah they came in late at around 3.15

Cops had let us in their segregated bit and when they came up the steps into the kippax it was mayhem all game ... cops quickly put portable barriers up between us .... the side streets after the game was mental and spurs were well game
Was that when they turned up in butchers coats singing "we are evil"?

I went to the Huddersfield away game Friday night think it was 99 or 2000, City all over the ground, heard there was a lot of bother in Huddersfield town centre later in the night.

Didnt say away fans
Only the rags
It happened
Why i would i say it did if it didnt ?
If you dont believe me that ok
I aint going to change your mind but i remember it well
You remember it correctly mate the rags were allocated that side of the Kippax on occasion.
My Brother who is four years older than me came one time when the rags were on that side, he didnt go very often and was a bit of a nerd. I kept telling him to keep his head down because of the coins and bricks, he didnt and in a space of a couple of minutes got a coin on his head quickly followed by a stone which gashed him.
The crazy thing is he started to kick off with me as if I’d thrown them at his head. I was throwing things but not at his fucking head.

Surely The best trap to set, is to ask if they’ve heard of Denis
I have many traps and snares for cocky rags.i know more about their shitty club than they do,and prove it time and time again.
But only when pushed/provoked,when i am in the mood....
They all want to talk loudly about history...until i turn up,and decide to focus upon specific bits of their history..which they genuinely have no clue about.the shitty bits.got a long memory me.:)
