Having just left the Dublin Super Cup Inter v Celtic (at half time) I can say that they (IM) have had a player sent off and were really lucky not to have another one off as well.
But I must admit that I enjoyed their first half better than our match.
Don't get me wrong, we won, we didn't do too much wrong but how AJ got MOTM I cannot understand. SWP played much better than AJ, Gareth Barry played well, Guidetti and a couple of the others also played better, their names escape me because I didn't realise we had that many players!! :-) (76 on the back of one shirt if I remember correctly)
AJ had a clear look at goal and decided to pass to someone on the other side of the goal! Why AJ, why?
It was a 'scratch' team in a sense and it was good for the youngsters to get experience so you would not expect perfection or the same teamwork as Celtic and IM but it was 'decent' as Joe Hart would say.
So yes, let's hope that the ref is strong tomorrow.
Blimey Celtic were well supported weren't they? :-)
