Apologise for the additional topic but I have been reading if Shreck does play suggestions that NDJ or other players should "target" him & his ankle.

Ok Bayern did it & got a way with it but with the referees in the Prem being stricter & dishing out red cards like confetti if we adopt this policy it would be foolish.

Surely we don't want to go down to 10 men early on against them do we?.
Play within the laws & we will get the result.

+ ps I hate Rooney.

I think were all saying 'injure Rooney' in a sarcastic way. Obviously we dont want to go dow to 10 men in the game.

But Rooney landing awkwardly and damaging his ankle would be nice :)

Absolutely agree. The only way they are going to win this is if they start a fouling match. They are better at fouling and cheating than we are, in fact masters of the dark arts, and would win any such encounter hands down. We are now better than them in every, and I mean every, position except left back. If football is the winner, then we'll take all three points easily.

Agree with this.

Since when have we been cloggers?

We are not Blackburn. (Or Liverpool this year)

There aren't any nasties in our team who spend ninety minutes, a la The Ginger Pig, tearing about and kicking opponents up and down.

Focus on putting the ball in the red net and don't get sidetracked into private agendas or fruitless vendettas. Play football and the quality of our team should prevail.

Who was the last City player to get sent off in a Derby? My mind has just gone blank.

Neil Pointen?

91 at the swamp 1-1

Maybe we could use tactics, like stop them getting it on the deck to him so they have to give it long. Therefore Rooney would have to jump with Vinnie or (Insert CB here) and have a chance of landing awkwardly on his ankle. Always thinking ;)

Cheers Mat but sounds like your not 100% sure? Giggs before he starts shaving gets a deserved kick in the groin after torturing Neil Poynton for the whole game. Neil was lucky he didn't get sent to Jail.

I don't have a problem with shrek getting injured by a City player, they have done it to us enough times over the years.
What I want is for them to go in hard and ruthless if he gets injured, well so what. If he doesn't get injured you can guarantee that his under developed brain will cause him to lose it and lash out, hopefully getting himself sent off or injured or both.

Second yellow for diving IIRC. Dozy bollocks.

That sort of attitude is the one losers adopt, what ever we have to do we do to win the game.
Way to many think turning the other cheek is taking the moral high ground, just for one second remember what happened when Bellers got felled by the barage of bottles/coins,ferdinand & van der sar couldn't give a shit if Bellers was badly injured infact sar was hiding the stuff that was thrown & ferdinand was giving him al sorts of grief.
Personally i hope it starts in the tunnel with Tevez taking on ferdinand & giving him shit.
Nail the twat like he tries to do to goalkeepers when he goes in on them, not one step back & fuck em.
