The Blue Buus... is callin us... Driver, where you
Just the other day I was thinking about how many 'greatest teams' City have developed and this one is right on the verge being another amazing team!

If I'm honest I'm blown away about how many 'perfect storms' the club has created for our teams to be constantly on the verge of greatness.

So, I guess my question is since there are many factors going into what happens, what's the leading one...?

The directors' ability to plot a pathway for the team and player?

The player's belief in his own ability coming through?

The manager's ability to get a player to 'believe'?

The fact it happens so often can't be coincidence, but I can't get my head around what's different about an amazing team built on potential and not 'galacticos'.

Or are we 'Galacticos', really...?

All I know is it’s exciting as fuck. Moving that Lego-headed **** out to Munich has proved to be genius. Shifting Stones into midfield equally so. It’s completely changed us and has put us in this position to clean sweep, bar the cup Kellogg’s won.

I cant wait for the next game as soon as the last one ended. We are the best team in Europe bar none. And those fearing Vini Jnr? Fuck him.

It starts from day one the plans and ideas the focus on doing everything right, then the building Academy and always focusing on getting the manager we wanted.
People will always throw "Oil money" at us some tongue in cheek some with jeaulosy, it matters not and is part of the focus, yes we have money but it's not all about that. it's how you spend what you have and how you eventually become self sufficent and we have.
I believe we have the best owner in the world but for me Khaldoon is a Legend what a man what a mind he drives everyone forward.
Long may this continue.

The very top people are the very best, and with their resources they ensure that they get the best available appointment for every position. They create the best environment and it builds on itself - success breeding success.
I almost have to pinch myself when I see how good this present team is. It seems, at times, that I should be more religious but then, I just give my head a wobble and remember that Pep is the God of football; he's with us, and all is good. Long may it continue. Amen.

A combination of world class people making decisions and the best manager being in charge. No short term panic it is all a long term plan executed to perfection. You can guarantee Pep would have wanted a left back, he didn't get a proven one so he experimented, worked on different systems and created a solution.

With a world cup mid season, a squad going for three titles in a row and some high profile exits in the summer/Jan the fact we are still competing in all three main competitions and could win them all shows just how incredible Pep is. He is the critical factor but helped by a board that knows it and trusts him.
