am currently on bluemoon and logged in but I don't seem to able to get rid of the audio - any suggestions - other than turning the volume dwn/off?

You have to wait until 1000 posts before it goes mate. Don't turn your sound off though as you will miss out on...

Hold your keyboard at an angle mate it trips the system.
Someone else reported a similar problem recently. What browser are you using?
They were using IE (no one has reported problems with any other browser), so I'd try closing closing it down and restarting it, or failing that I recommend installing a better browser! Apologies for the inconvenience.

yes using IE - have shut down and restarted but still no luck and it is becoming most annoying. Have no idea how to instal an alternative browser<br /><br />-- Fri Sep 09, 2011 9:10 am --<br /><br />panic over - everything back to normal and thanks for your assistance.

To force IE to shutdown press Ctrl-alt-del > task manager > processes tab > right click iexplore and end task.

Again having problems with the audio and it has been especially annoying this morning. I don't want to change my browser from IE to Firefox, so does anyone have any Idea how I can get rid of it. It has come to the stage where I won't go to Bluemoon if this continues. Is no one else troubled by this?

Thanks Ric and sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I turned my computer on and off a couple of times and it went away. Was a bit annoying at the time but really no great shakes. Yes have the latest version of IE installed.
