He’s had 3 season to prove he ain’t a shit head m8. He’s gone unfortunatelyYou have an issue with me hoping one of players rediscovers the form we bought him for?
Said to say Kun is no longer a key component to how we play, every year I used to pray to the devil he wouldn’t get injured and shudder every time he went down but he’s no longer fundamental to us winning or playing well.
Aguero spent all his career playing on the shoulder of the last defender and measuring his performance in goals until Pep came along.Sadly, I don't think he fits.
Aguero has worked his bollocks off to try and give what Pep wants and we have of course had some fruitful seasons with Aguero bagging 20+ under Pep but I think this is the beginning of the end for him. Injuries and age are catching up to him, he simply can't put in the yards that
We still need that alternate option from the bench but what we are seeing now is the culmination of the past 5 years of work by Pep. Outside of Ederson and the CB's, the other 8 players don't really have a strict position, they move where needed and constantly cycle space and positions.
This will prove to be pure bollocks from me when we splash 100m on Haaland and he plays as a recognised number 9 up top and the rest move around him but at the moment we are really seeing something great with how interchangable the team is.
