How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

Again, difficult to argue with that although a small few do let brexit spill over into almost every thread but hey ho, no one died because of it.

It was a seismic decision which has had a profound impact nationally, whichever way you look at it. Of course it’s going spill into other threads.

It has been, and will continue to be a very divisive subject.

And I accept we all need to try and play a part in changing that.

No other subject that anyone has felt bitter about goes on and on like this. The US shootings thread maybe but that’s because they continue to happen. The Brexit vote was seven years ago and we’re not going back

It’s had a negative effect no doubt and I’m sure you will find business owners who it has had a detrimental effect on and citizens with particular circumstances but all of us? On a very personal level? No mate, I don’t believe it has had that much of an impact and covid and the markets going tits up at Truss or the Tory party and it’s government has had a far more reaching into our daily lives and pockets, imo of course.

I don’t post the above to defend it, I just don’t get much of the hyperbole that many seem to want to link to brexit and let’s be honest, some do want to do just that all of the time.
