To be honest I think a lot of them were taken in by the propaganda, take the mail readers a constant stream of anti EU articles what’s sad is the mail and the express are still at itBut to be fair they knew all that when they voted didn't they? I mean between the X in the box in 2016 and present day foot mumbling everything they ever dreamed of has come true yeah?

But we see it on here all the time, people hoist their flags to one side or the other and even in the face of facts that contradict them, they stubbornly hold on, or as now prefer not to talk about it, also people don’t like been seen to be foolsyeah but even when it was pointed out to them that their supposed Project Fear was evolving into Project Here they still wouldn't have it - now rather than face up to it they are just too embarrassed by it
Breaks my fucking heart listening to that. Aside from any economic and practical considerations, the decision to turn our back on our neighbours was egregiously rude and disrespectful. The way the split was handled, even more so.Rank amateur from Peston.
Barnier must get fed up explaining the same thing to these overgrown children.
Like many seismic changes, other than the enduring collapse of the pound, the effects weren’t felt straight away. I think long term, the worst effects of ‘Project Fear’ have pretty much been realised, and will increasingly do so sadly. It’s been an unmitigated disaster for the UK as many said it would be, granted not quite the post apocalyptic world that some predicted but it’s a mess
Instead of shooting ourselves in the foot we’ve blown both our legs off, put both barrels down our throat and pulled the fucking trigger. Most people I know who supported Brexit just tend to look at their feet and mumble something about this is not the Brexit they wanted

People were mislead by bunch of right wing grifters, who have stuffed their pockets
I agree with this sentiment, a complete absence of any sense of solidarity unlike our continental counterpartsBreaks my fucking heart listening to that. Aside from any economic and practical considerations, the decision to turn our back on our neighbours was egregiously rude and disrespectful. The way the split was handled, even more so.
Fucking shameful.
The ones arguing for Brexit in 2016, and implying everyone else is thick, seem to stay away from here now. Although they do the same on any other contentious thread.
