How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

My point is that people can still move, work and settle, the EU has only been a thing for a short length of time.
You can’t unless you’re lucky enough to have an Irish passport. It’s nowhere near as straight forward as it used to be and your average expat who could settle here and live off their pension can’t anymore unless they can jump through hoops and prove a certain income.
I know more than I can count who had to leave here because they couldn’t get a TiE card.
Anyone trying to say you can do what you could before brexit is posting in bad faith.

I lived in the now EU for over a decade before the EU was as it is now, and that figure shows that you can move abroad if you really want to.

Rules of life change and they change constantly, but if you want it you can do it. If remain would have done a better job of convincing people then we wouldn't be in this mess in the first place.

How many foreigners from outside the EU live in the EU? The recent figure is 24 million, that's 24 million people who don't reside in the EU are living there now.

My argument isn't in bad faith it's just dispelling the many myths generated by people who didn't like the decision.

Not fully sure of the rules but definitely sure that it’s harder to do so since the hard Brexit was implemented.

I‘m seriously thinking about fucking off when the time is right but know that it’ll be difficult unless I claim Irish citizenship.

And that says a lot, that people will push the rules to get away from the shit-show we’re living through.

Are you enjoying the benefits of living in the EU?

Rules change nothing stays the same and the rules have changed many many times. I have German and French relatives and they think their countries are a bit shit too.

Moving to a country that thinks they are shit doesn't really solve the shitiness.

That article you posted is talking about the first few months of the vote where half of the figures mentioned made the move
Try moving to Spain today and see what happens.

I can't say my life has changed in any way, I voted to remain but democracy thought different. What benefits did I enjoy exactly whilst we were in the EU?

On a personal level it all revolves around being able to live where you want?
